It whistles really loud, I love it. The pink part on the handle is a rubber material and if you get any thing on it it does stain. this item would be great for decor but not practicle for use if you want it to stay shiney and pink.

THIS TEA KETTLE IS USED EVERDAY BY MY PARENTS AND IT HAS PERFORMED PERFECTLY , THEY ARE OVER YEARS OLD AND LIKE THIS ONE BETTER THAN ANY THEY HAVE HAD IN THE PAST , NO COMPLAINTS ( AND THAT IS WHAT I WANTED OUT OF THIS KETTLE )

This tea kettle is a great color; really perks up the kitchen, but it has a few drawbacks. First, it can’t be put over high heat without the enamel blistering and then flaking off, and when you put it on medium heat as it says to, it takes eons to boil. Secondly, it has the most feeble whistle I have ever heard. Unless you are hovering over it, you won’t hear it. On the up side, it is really pretty. You might want to keep it on the stove just for looks, but unfortunately, you’re better off with a plain stainless steel kettle that really whistles. Read the reviews in Google. Also, you’ll save money and get something that works!

I got my brushed steel Tea Kettle as a housewarming present, and I have not had any problems with it. It works great on both electric and gas stoves. The handle does get a little warm due to some heat transferance between the metal of the pot and the silicone, but I’ve never had to use any pot holders with it as it’s never been uncomfortable. It pours smooth, is easy to use, and I like the fact that it has both a whistle that can be lifted up to pour and a removable lid so I can put tea bags directly inside the pot when it’s finished boiling so I have a pot-o-tea. Easy to clean with that removable lid, too.

I bought this tea kettle to add to my collection of pink KitchenAid appliances, but it turned out to be a really great purchase. The tea kettle is pretty in stainless steel and has only a touch of pink on the silicone handle. It has a loud noticeable whistle that lets you know when your water is ready and is easy to use and handle. I’ve read the other reviews that state that the pot gets overly hot, but that only happens if you use a grill size that is too large for the kettle. If you read the directions before use, it specifically says to use a burner compatible with the size of the kettle, this easily solves that problem. The spout is large and the kettle is easy to fill, whether throught the lid or the spout. Again, this is a KitchenAid product and has great waranty coverage and excellent customer service. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested.

I became hooked on this brand years ago. Now I find other brands too bitter and harsh. If you like subtle green tea flavor, this is the tea for you.

I drink this tea all the time and was happy to see it on amazon in 40 ct boxes, as opposed to 20 or so. I drink so much tea all day that I needed 40 count boxes! The little boxes just dont last long.

I love this tea. The flavor is fresh and clean. It is so good hot and even better at room temperature. I drink about 6-8 cups a day and it makes me feel full and satisfied.

Excellent green decaf tea at a great price. We love this tea. It has a strong delightful green tea taste and its decaf too. By comparison, many other green teas are too dry tasting for me. And I like the convenience of the 40 tea bag size boxes as we drink a lot of this tea. Its great hot and good iced too.
